GREAT GATSBY HALLOWEEN LOOK

"IT DON'T MEAN A THING....IF YOU AIN'T GOT THAT SWING!"

WAS INSPIRED BY THE MOVIE THE GREAT GATSBY, WHICH WAS A LOVE STORY THAT WAS BASED IN THE 1920's ERA! I LOVE THE FASHION IN THAT CENTURY–IT WAS SO VINTAGE AND ELEGANT! DIAMONDS AND PEARLS WAS DEFINITELY A GIRL'S BESTFRIEND IN THE 1920's! FROM GLITZ AND EMBELLISHED HEADPIECES, SEQUIN, GLITTER, EXTRAVAGANT FURS, LACED IN SATIN GLOVES AND SASSY SOFTWAVES HAIRSTYLES FOR THAT MODERN VINTAGE GLAM QUEEN....SUCH A FASHION STATEMENT!

THE CHARACTER I TRY TO PORTRAY IN THE MOVIE WAS, DAISY BUCHANAN, THE BEAUTIFUL FLAPPER THAT JAY GATSBY(Leornardo DiCaprio) WAS IN LOVE WITH.

FLAPPER-
  1. informal
(in the 1920s) a fashionable young woman intent on enjoying herself and flouting conventional standards of behavior.
